These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Scott-Phillips Family reunion website (“the site”). By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms. If you have questions, contact us at scottphillipsfamilyreunion@gmail.com.

Accounts

The site is a private, membership-based website for members and descendants of the Scott-Phillips Family. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and notify us of any unauthorized use of your account. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms or misuse the site.

Acceptable Use

Use the site only for its intended family purposes. Do not post unlawful, harassing, or infringing content; do not attempt to access other members' accounts or non-public areas of the site; and do not interfere with the operation or security of the site.

Member Content

You retain ownership of the photos and content you upload. By posting content you grant the Scott-Phillips Family a non-exclusive license to display it on the site for family purposes. Only upload content you have the right to share.

Payments and Donations

Dues, store purchases, and donations are processed by Square, Inc. and are subject to Square's terms. Amounts are shown before you confirm payment. Contact us at scottphillipsfamilyreunion@gmail.com with any questions about a transaction.

SMS Messaging Terms

The Scott-Phillips Family Reunion messaging program sends SMS text messages to members who opt in: family event notifications and announcements, and two-factor authentication verification codes for members who enable SMS two-factor authentication. How to opt in is described on our SMS program description page. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of creating an account or of any purchase.

Message frequency varies depending on family activity and your account settings. Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details about your messaging plan.

Opting out: You can cancel SMS messages at any time by replying STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE, or OPTOUT) to any message, or by turning off SMS notifications on your Profile page. After you opt out, you will receive a final message confirming your unsubscription, and no further messages will be sent. You can rejoin at any time by replying START or by re-enabling SMS notifications on your Profile page.

Carrier disclaimer: Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from your network operator and is outside our control.

Your privacy in the messaging program is described in our Privacy Policy. Mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Scott-Phillips Family and its volunteers are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
